I like the long times because it allows research to get completed. Who cares how long the "characters" think time has passed. You just click the button to make it completed and pass the time instantly. I use vacations for the same reason. Get research completed while you're in port.

Since you don't mention anything about it, I imagine DWS uses this exact same mechanic to salvage stuff off the sea floor.
So, according to DWS it takes just as long to move 5 spare parts from the store house onto your sub as it does to to recover 5 spare parts from a dangerous twisted and torn hunk of steel 100+ meters below the surface.

A very great mod indeed! But there's a little problem: when you resupply your U-boat on a harbour, it only takes a few minutes to load accessable goods to your boat. So far, so good! But unfortunately, it takes some days until new goods are accessable again on your harbour! That means you actually have to wait several days to be able to load new stuff on your boat! But you can't actually skip the time, so you have to deal with all the things you got earlier! Sorry for my not perfect English!
