HD's Battleground (8p)

Description
A relatively narrow and long map with plenty of built-in defensives structures, defensive setups, and bottlenecks. A veriety of pathways and line-of-sight breakers are available for tactical manuevers. The map is very high on resources and popcap is set at 200.

Each team can carry a fight to the death, with both bases relatively well fortified, and each containing a resource farm that can keep the fight going, even when most of the map is lost.

There was a freezing bug at the start of the round, now is fixed.

**Note: Inspiration was certainly taken from popular community maps such as Verdun Frontline Edition by BlacKcuD. A fantastic map.

congrats, players 2 4 6 and 8 spawn on one end of the map and players 1 3 5 and 7 spawn on the other.
I'm not quite sure you understand how teams are assigned

It could do with some more Trenches, Maybe some MGs scattered here and there. Make them random, Like you find a vickers here, and an mg34 Over there.

so just tried it and i saw 2 probs
1 too much fuel for real around 100 when u are on the mid without normal points amo
not enought buildings

i think u should make another version with less point/remove all meds and heavy tanks

i don t say is bad but the community is bad just spamming arty and the game just become unplayable... i ll check it out but the map LOOKS nice

I agree with what you're saying. In fact, most maps on my workshop are more "resource-aware" and focused on building the right units. You should check'em out.


On the other hand, that doesn't mean I dont enjoy having tons of resources and just have fun on the battlefield. I enjoy that sort of stuff too... and apparently many others do too.

the probs with high income map is just
SPAM ALL DAY WITHOUT ANY BRAIN for real the map is great but with all theses ressources...

Glad people are enjoying it. I just rearranged some of the resource points. I didn't add or remove any... just rearrangment. I think its better now. :-) enjoy guys.

I have discovered the startup bug, and have fixed it. Map is updated and should work flawlessly now.

Map never startes, after finish loading we can see the map and the bases but can not give any orders. 3 player vs 3 ai.
