[HRCS] HL2 Streetwars 14 (d3_c17_12b_hrcs)

It seems that screenshots are being deleted from all my addon pages, I'm not sure why. Please note that there should be groups of 3 screenshots for every scene, one of HL2, HL2:U, and the current addon map respectively.


Another map where I showcase the maximum extent of the Source Engine's static lighting system using GMod's 64bit compile tools. Features 256x256 resolution cubemaps and the highest resolution shadows possible without the compile tools throwing errors due to too many vertices.

Compiled for LDR & HDR and retains full functionality as long as you have Half-Life 2 purchased & installed on Steam and mounted in Garry's Mod.

Map name is d3_c17_12b_hrcs and can be found in the "Half-Life 2" map section.

Progressing backwards upon spawning in will take you to map d3_c17_12_hrcs if you are subscribed to it. Completing the level as you would in Half-Life 2 will take you to map d3_c17_13_hrcs if you are subscribed to it.

Misc info:

• At the very end, there is a broken lamp in the hallway. In Half-Life 2, there is a decal placed where the lamp was attached to the ceiling, but before shipping Half-Life 2, Valve removed the associated material and texture, making the decal show up as an error. Half-Life 2 Update fixed this by removing the decal. I have restored the decal in this HRCS map (you can't really see from the screenshot, trying to time the light flickering was like a 1/60 chance, and I'm not a speed runner). Be sure you subscribe to the HRCS Common Assets addon to see it.
