45FP's Utilities, Services, Amenities Pack

Description
Greetings everyone! Here I present my collection of utilities, services, and amenities (including functionality-added vending machines) originally made by various authors.

After many days of arduous cheesecake slicing I have finally smashed together a bunch of fan content into packs, sorted by functionality. Project Highrise only allows up to 50 mods active at one time, so I've spliced a bunch of 'em together in various packs, grouped by function. I've made several changes, typically in fixing issues: most mods would glitch when using the Move tool where you couldn't place something after it was picked up; some mods weren't properly sized (such as an object that was 5 tiles wide but was only allocated 4 tiles); some items I added functionality, such as adding the { vending } aura to vending machines (unfortunately they could not be counted as actual vending machines for purposes of filling room prerequisites), giving aesthetic heatmaps to paintings and plants, allowing a couple building services offices to be built above ground, and so on; and so on again. All packs have a Credits.txt file with attribution to the original authors. I mean no infringement, so if any author wishes to have me exclude one of their items, they may still do so by commenting below.

BEFORE USING; I strongly recommend that you: 1) remove any mods that are contained within this pack AND 2) start a new game. Overwriting your existing mods with these packs and then loading a game may cause your PC to spontaneously combust. Or blue-screen. Or maybe the game will self-delete. Or if you're really lucky, everything might work just fine. Point is, I had trouble loading old saves after I'd packed these mods, so you'll probably have trouble too if you try.

I also wish to ShoutOut to Alex TD on GitHub. He put out a great mod that fixes a lot of issues in the game that can't be fixed by simply downloading to the mod folder. Here's a link to the Project Highrise TD Enhancement Pack: https://github.com/alextd/ProjectHighrise-TDEnhancementPack/tree/main. It makes the game scroll to your pointer, allows you to move shops even when you don't have any free storage spaces, has a couple bugfixes, and more.

In the format of " mod - profile name (steam user ID) " this particular pack contains:

Security Wall - BadMonkey (badmonkey0001)
Sane Looking Elevators - 1r0n1c (1r0n1cpT)
Enhanced Broom Closet - Jinxie395 (76561198052725080)
Escalator Pack - PaperFox (76561198121402121) [code credits "jackalope.feet", possibly formerly known as?]
Packed Maintenance and Construction Offices, Extra Large Utility Meters, Observation Decks - polander50 (76561198344620619)
NS-blocking self-service lounge, trash & recycle chutes, Basic Construction & Maintenance offices, Functional Spacer Pack - airtoth (76561198115069885)
Blue and Red 1x1 Vending Machines - KaedanJarret (erisiah)
Red Drinks Machine, Green Choc&Snack Machine - PCGNeurotic (pcgneurotic)
Small Coffee Machine - KM (Lukaio)
Stair Rail for Top Floor, Self-serve Information Booth - marquisite (76561198055171554)

Pack-specific notes: cannot add Extra Large HVAC. Utilities do not show the utilities dialogue; you will need to plop one of the game's built-in utility closets for each type in addition to each Extra Large Utility Room. I figured out how to make the rooms display the utility dialogue, but then the rooms wouldn't show up in the mod build menu. Cannot combine both trash and recycling into one item. Escalators make peeps less happy, this is hardcoded into the game because the dev was originally going to add them but left them unfinished. Escalators do have a purpose however: they seem to cause peeps to visit more stores. This might just be a placebo effect, but when I compared having elevators vs escalators it looked like the peeps were visiting more stores.

Special Thanks to the authors who replied to me when I asked for permission to use their stuff! I hope you all enjoy, and that these packs reinvigorate your love for the game! Let me know in the comments if there are any issues.

Thanks,

The ☆The 45ᵗʰ Flying Pyros☆ (coretz)

Alright, so I have been using it for a while. It runs great. No issues whatsoever. This is great for overall quality of life due to the mod limit. Your other mod packs also seem to be completely issue free and run flawlessly. Anything else you want to add would be very welcome. Thanks again!

Haha yep happens! Just lemme know if you want something. I've been thinking about trying to put in some upgraded building services but I'm also kinda lazy.

I figured it out. I had forgotten that you have to activate the mods in the tab off the main menu at startup.

Let me get these all working before I start making requests because I am still troubleshooting. hahaha I removed all conflicting mods but when starting a new game the only items that show up in the mod build menu are the ones that are not in any of your modpacks.

You're correct. There are functional spacers in the pack that do the same thing. That said, if you want me to, I could put them in. Thank you so much for your comment I've been sitting here wondering if it was worth the effort lol.

Great mod pack! Thanks you so much for putting this together!
One question, this only contains BadMonkey's Security Wall and does not contain his Smell Blocking Door and/or his Noise Blocking Door? I know it only lists the Security Wall but I am just trying to make sure. Thanks again!
