Chapultepec 1847

In 1847 the American army reached the Mexican capital and in orded to subdue the city they layed siege to the military college of Chapultepec, there the American forces and Mexican forces clashed in hours of combat, though the battle resulted in a American victory, the battle was recorded in Mexican history as one of the bravest moments in the war, the Mexican forces in the fort consisted mainly of students from the college (teens and adults) they displayed bravery and died for their cause.

This is my second project in my series of maps related to Mexican historical battlefields, now, the map is NOT 100% accurate, i have never been to Chapultepec or even Mexico city, so the interior of the Castle is not accurate, the outside resembles the 1847 version of the castle, i used various images from the exterior and illustrations from the battle to make the map. the map Includes:
- Castle of chapultepec with full accessibility
- A cellar with 3 cellars
- The Caballero Alto (the tower)
- Ballustrades
- Spaces to place cannons
- Plenty of space
- Trenches (destroy the dirt on top to reveal them)
- Molino del rey (the small structure in front of the castle)
- earthworks (i will improve them soon)

This map is a WIP and will recieve updates in the following days, the cellar is dark and obscure, i didn't put any lights down there because its a cellar and thats where you hide people and it needs to be dark so they dont find their way out, so carry a lamp or candle with you. dont worry about the guy i walled in, its a sacrifice so the structure lasts, mexican witchery stuff i guess.
