== PROJECT OVERVIEW:
With the abundance of Dugong hull variants available for cheap purchase, the Nighthawk Foundry set out to attempt to harness the power of alien technology to power submarines. The Yser was the child of this development. Armed with a reactor with apparently infinite power, the Yser can cut through the depths at insane speeds.

The Yser is armed with 3 special "DARKBLOSSOM" lasers, and 1 mk1 Flak cannon on the nose. These prototype lasers do not need ammo, but are energy intensive. The energy required to charge them creates a lot of noise, which disrupts the Yser's overall stealthy nature. The charging system can be disabled for quieter movement. For last line defense, the Yser is equipped with a electrical discharge coil.

The ship can be turned to stealth mode, which will reduce the noise output to near 0, allowing the small ship to slip by creatures that may pose a threat to this otherwise fearsome submarine.

== FILE NOTES:
  • The Yser is very fast and maneuverable, but is small. It does not go toe to toe with pirates or deep sea creatures well. Should be primarily used in an fast-attack role.
  • There is only the top exit, meaning that it can only dock with stations above it.
  • While it has a fully functional engineering bay, it is not designed for mineral harvesting.
  • All doors use a base ID, meaning that all areas are accessible. This ship is not suitable for transporting unknown VIPs. Traitors are quickly found and dispatched.
