Description
Polaris Attack Cruiser

The Polaris series was commissioned as an advanced Attack Cruiser class vessel by the Europa Coalition Navy. The initial naval design has been overhauled and upgraded by Whiskey Echo Shipyards after years of field R&D, and is now available for purchase by civilian contractors.

Features

- Midships weapons stations (large mounts) can switch weapon type - dorsal turret has a flak cannon + chaingun, ventral turret has a railgun + double coilgun.

- Reactor bleeds radiation - recommended to wear a Hazmat suit & diving suit / PUCS for protection when working nearby the reactor, & keep a supply of antirad meds handy. Reactor has 2x "Coolant pumps" that need to be maintained, otherwise the reactor room will flood. Condition status indicator lights on the pumps will change from green, to yellow, to red, as the pumps deteriorate.

- Battery array will recharge while docked.

- Status indicators, warnings & alarms for nearly everything.

- Proximity & intruder alerts, & proximity threat direction indicator displays in gunnery room.

- Exploration / combat drone with depth indicator, 2x oxygen tank refilling ports, a crate storage unit, & a pulse laser which does not require ammo refills, but has a limited capacitor with 24x shots before needing to be recharged. Drone has a "follow" mode that can be enabled on the Nav terminal.

- Fully equipped with fabricator, medical fabricator, research station, + a "turbo speed" deconstructor.

- "Low-Power Mode" which will dim the lights, & disable power from dive suit refillers, fabricators etc, re-routing power where it is needed most.

- Engine boost mode for a temporary speed increase

- Data terminal with extra readouts, and an option to scuttle the ship if the situation gets too dire to recover...

- 3x Airlocks with smooth transitions to prevent ragdolling, plus moonpool / wet porch access located in the aft section, with a security hatch.

- Dorsal & ventral docking ports.

- Artifact storage bay, with a pump to flood/drain room if required.

- Multiple camera mounts.

- Lots of hidden "stash" spots (vents, boxes, containers etc)

- Brig for prisoners, griefers, or husk experiments.

- Crew amenities such as bunks, & a head, for when you need to go afk...

Hello! I have remade this sub with a more bot friendly approach do you mind me posting it?

not bot friendly. good sub though if your playing with 10 other people (who does that??). I play solo. bots wont go up and down ladders and they don't open doors, forget about them figuring out the 'hazard' door at the reactor, need option to disable that crap but pretty much forget changing anything, all wiring is locked. Wana add a EK mod sprinkler? tough shit.

Oh another thing if is not so much time consuming, are containers and shelves tagged so bots can do clean up?

Hi! Wanted to report a bug with the recent version, bots cannot open doors.
