Loving County, Texas (WIP)

Description
Map set in West Texas, loosely based off of the Loving County area in the Permian Basin.

GameRealisticMap was used for terrain data, then Project America/CUP/Vanilla assets used for the town.

Right now, the town, a military installation, an airfield (central area of map), some plateaus, and some of the surrounding oil fields are in a semi-completed state. Outside of loose industrial spread in the northwest and south east, the map is mostly empty, but complete.

TODO:

-Improve "suburbs"/housing in the south east of town.

-There are LOD issues regarding areas I've previously tried to make "underground" bunkers out of (Farm NE of Town, Military outpost in the south). As of now I'm trying to find a fix, but am busy with work irl.

the best map i've ever seen in arma 3 workshop, i mean there's many good big maps, but this one is different, gives much western / american desert vibes :steamhappy::steamthumbsup:

Potentially, currently Sa'hatra is just used for lighting and terrain stuff.

Are you gonna remove the sahatra dep at one point?

Really happy you make these. I know you do these specific for your guys, but it would be cool to see a little bigger of towns included in future maps. Especially in states like Texas. Keep it up!

Is there a discord so we can get updates on the terrain?

Not trying to be 1-1 with the irl area, mainly going for having a platform for the general vibe of the area, if that makes sense
