This mod is the first of many private mods that are being released publicly over time from The Survivalists Role Play Server[the-survivalists.net]. Vanilla DayZ has a variety of books within the game already WITH a UI to display text but is not currently attached to any action. This mod aims to connect existing vanilla behavior with heavily abridged versions of vanilla book texts along with extending reading features to include multi select books and predefined book lists on tablets. The framework is fairly simple and meant to be extended like any other retexture or addon.

Subscribe to the mod.
Browse items with the prefix "IAT_LiteraryDevices_" or any vanilla "Book".
Bring book to hands and left click to read.

Unpack and read the readme.
IAT_LiteraryDevices_Book_Colorbase is the base class for books. Single select.
IAT_LiteraryDevices_Scroll_Colorbase is the base class for scrolls. Single select.
IAT_LiteraryDevices_MultiBook_Colorbase is the base class for books (burnable). Multi select defined by attachments.
IAT_LiteraryDevices_MultiBookTablet_Colorbase is the base class for tablets (non-burnable). Multi select defined by config.
