Introduction

Hello all! This is a guide for 100%ing Snail Simulator, last updated on September 1, 2025 (The SNARG Patch - Patch 1.7.2)

This guide is subject to change, as the game is still regularly updated with the potential of new achievements being added.

General Achievements

These achievements are extremely easy to achieve and will likely unlock within the first minute of playing the game.

Walking Achievements

As of the 1.4.16 update, a distance traveled tracker was added to the bottom right of the menu screen - along with the respective achievements below. Unlike how the name may suggest, there is no concept of inches or miles in game. Rather, these achievements correlate when you reach a certain number of distance traveled (ie, 1 sninch = 1 distance traveled).

You also now receive a +50% speed boost for each snail near you (in a spherical radius); you also receive a +50% speed boost for each snail in front of you (in a cone-shaped area). The latter boost allows lagging snails to catch up to a group!

For example, in the attached image the snail would get +200% movement:

TIP: Unless you plan to play for a while, it's advisable to get the walking achievements when there are a large amount of players in game - more snails mean more speed.. and more speed means faster walking.

The quickest way to get this achievement is to turn on Scroll Jump Mode and then jump over and over and over.

The easiest way to get this achievement is to jump off the map and wait 10-20 minutes while your snail gains falling speed and ASCENDS.

Located directly at spawn with a sign beneath it that explains how to touch objects in game.

Slide inside a treasure chest. There are two chests that work for this achievement. One is in village, next to the Smithy's house. The other is on The Sky Platform.

Take Me To Snurch

Enter the Snail Church

Inside Snail Village, there is a church building towards the western side of the town. Simply enter the church to get the achievement.

Snub

Enter the Snail Club

The well in Snail Village is the hidden entrance to the Snub, jump down it to enter.

Touch Grass

But really, though 🐌

Fairly simple to achieve. Just slide your way into any tuft of grass (I personally got this achievement in the grass just outside the gate of snail village).

Snail to new heights!

By spamming the [Space] key, your snail can essentially "fly." To get this achievement, spam jump until you reach the height limit of the world. Alternatively, you can press 'j' to toggle scroll wheel jumping, and spam jump that way.
Tip: It is easier to do this from the sky platform (see below).

When Snails Fly... 🐌

Reach the sky platform 🐌

Outside of snail village, above the bridge and anthill, there is a dark blue platform in the air. It can be viewed by zooming out as far as possible and rotating the camera.
Use the same method of jumping as used in the 🚀🚀🚀 achievement when you are near the base of the platform. You will get the achievement once you land on the platform. Enjoy the tea!

👑Ruler of the Hill👑

Ascend the heights of the cube pyramid

Outside of snail village, directly to the left of the stone path, there is a large, black, cubic pyramid. Make your way to the top of it, and the achievement will be yours.

Outside of snail village, there is a bridge crossing a river. Go into the river. You will die.

But you will get the achievement.

Was it worth it?

"Hi, queen!" 🐌

"Sup snail" 🐜👑

Outside of snail village, an anthill will be visible directly to the left of the path and near the river. Make your way into the center of the hill and slide down the hole. Once you reach the ant queen inside, you will get the achievement.

Ruler of the World

👑👑👑

Directly outside of snail village, there is a black, cubic tower to the left of the dirt path. Climb to the top of this tower.

Cross the bridge

Snail ur way on over here, buddy!

Simply cross the bridge passing over the river outside of snail village. You will reach it if you follow the dirt path. You will receive the achievement after completely crossing the bridge.

Monolith

What is it? 🤔🤔🤔

The Monolith is in the bottom right corner of the map. To reach it, leave spawn and go to the far right corner of the fence. From there, you can crawl in a roughly diagonal direction heading behind the village.

You can also follow the river to the right to the edge of the map, or when the river widens into a lake. Then turn right, following the edge of the map to the corner. The monolith is large enough that it should be viewable in the distance. [Thank you Snail Dev for this addition!]

Alternatively, you can follow the path and eventually find your way at its base. To do this, follow the main path until you see the three houses at the very end. There will be a smaller path shooting off to the right. Follow this, cross the river, and you will find yourself at the monolith.

I hurried and spun up this achievement just for you. I know it feels really rushed, but hey, better than nothing right?
Sorry it took a bit to get to you ♥

To get this achievement, you must climb the monolith until you reach the very top. Jump or climb back down and the achievement will be granted a few seconds after you progress.

Spooky Scary Sneletons

ENTER THE CEMETERY

Located East of the snail village, over the bridge and past the picnic. It will be very noticeable with (spooky) purple fog surrounding it.

Rock Snimber

Conquer the rock tower 💪

East of Snail Village and to the left, there are a series of boulders stacked on top of one another. Climb to the top of the tower.

Rock Snimber 2.0

Conquer the mountain 💪💪

Follow the path out of snail village, past the bridge and rune stone, until a smaller path diverges to the left. Follow it and climb up the large mountain at the end. Once at the top, you will be granted the achievement.

🏠

Follow the path out of snail village, do not take any of the off-shooting paths. At the very end, there will be three houses. Go to Momo's house, the mushroom one, and this achievement will be granted.

Pay your respects

Exit Snail Village. By the 'You can tap shift to auto walk' sign, turn right. In the distance, there will be a black snail statue. Go to it and the achievement will be granted.

Shellcome to SNELL

Enter Snell

Behind the snail statue in the previous achievement, there is a purple portal. Enter it, and you will be teleported to snell.

The Maw

Enter the maw

In Snell, there is large skull near the center of the map. Carefully make your way inside the mouth and the achievement is yours.

In Snell, within the maw, there is a desk with a computer running snail simulator. Snail over the keyboard, and the achievement will be granted.

Snell Yeah!

Hit up the skate park 🛹

Located in snell and very easy to find once you in snell, it is visible as you fall into its fiery depths.

The Snairway to Sneaven

🐌😇👼

Face the river from the snail village. From the bridge, follow the river to the left until you reach the end of the map. After a long and lovely snail stroll, you will come upon a large, sloping structure at the end of the river. This is the stairway, you will receive the achievement once you are at its base.

At long last...

😇

Climb to the top of the snairway to sneaven. Note that this is a long and difficult task that will take several days to do naturally.

🎵 Sneidel Sneidel Sneidel 🎵

Give the dreidel a spin

Located at the bottom of the large Christmas tree in the centre of the new Christmas village near the bottom of the stairway to sneaven. Snailing over the glowing dreidel will reward the achivement.

Near the picnic area you'll see a hill with a bunch of sneaster eggs. Collect all of them and you'll get all 32 achievements with this title.

OIIA OIIA

🪩🎶💃🐈💫 Commandeer the DJ's laptop 🪩🎶💃🐈💫

Once inside the Snub, exit the elevator and walk to the dancefloor on the left. On the opposite side of it you'll see a DJ table with glowsticks and laptop. Jumping on this laptop will open a browser tab with music video and give you an achievement.

Hats. Chapter 1

This section pertains to the various wearable hats one can collect in Snail Simulator. There are hat related achievements, but not all hats grant an achievement for the player. For a more in-depth guide on hats, check out CrookGerard's guide here!

Hats are granted when the glowing sparkle around them disappears.

Top Hat

🎩

This is arguably the easiest hat to obtain, other than the party hat you start with. At spawn, by the exit of Snail Village, there is a top hat resting on the ground next to the gate. Make your way towards it and the hat (and achievement) will be granted once your snail touches it.

Chef Hat

Snatatouille

The hat is located in the fireplace of the house opposite from the snurch building at spawn (to the right of town if you are facing the well in the center).

Pot

Snell's Snitchen. It's snot a pan, it's a snot. Potty time. Snotty time.

Right outside the eastern exit of the snail village, on top of a rock. Next to it is a sign describing how to teleport to the locations of your currently owned hats.

Crown

👑🐌👑🐌👑🐌

Follow the path out of Snail Village past the wooden bridge. Here, the path will split. You will want to go right, towards a large white stone with a glowing blue rune on it (you should be able to see it from the village, if your render distance is high enough!). On the top of this stone is a crown, and climbing to it will unlock the crown hat and achievement.

Mustache

The smiley face hit puberty!

This fellow can be found by the monolith.

Viking Hat

Snail The Sneven Sneas

Follow the path from snail village all the way to the mushroom house at the very end (as in the 🍄 achievement). Next to the mushroom house is a viking ship, where the hat will be found.

Cap

To get this hat, you must climb to the top of the mountain in the top-left corner of the map. The path leading from snail village will lead to this mountain - just cross the bridge and take a left next to the picnic area.

Pirate Hat

Snarg!

Go out from the village towards the bridge and then follow the river to the right, the pirate hat will be at the end in a small island, directly in front of Flamingo Island.

Smol Snail

There is a second sky platform above and to the north of the sky platform. Go to there using the same strategy you used to reach the first platform and unlock the smol snail hat.

Pajama Hat

😴 ZZZzzz... 🐌

In the bottom-left corner of the map, behind the snail village and between the snairway to sneaven and the tesla coil, there is a large tree. There is a dirt path leading to this tree by the tesla coil.

The hat is on the platform attached to this tree, but it is recommended to not climb the tree in order to get to it. The easiest way is to get close to the platform, then jump the rest of the way onto it.

Bow Hat

👒

Across the bridge, where the dirt path branches into two directions, there is a cherry blossom tree along the left side of the path with a picnic laid out underneath it. The bow hat is propped against the tree.

This hat should be visible from snail village, if your render settings are high enough.

Flamingo Hat

🦩

Facing the exit of snail village, head down the right side of the river (going west), as you would for the pirate hat. Flamingo Island is directly behind the island where the pirate hat is located, in the middle of the water where river and ocean meet, so you will need to parkour to it. This can be done by either getting to the shore and spamming jump, or positioning yourself on a nearby tree or cliffside and launching yourself to the island.

Unicorn Hat

Facing the exit of snail village, head down the right side of the river (going west), as you would for the pirate hat. Be sure to stay on the right side, do not cross the bridge. Unicorn Point is located on top of a cliff at the end of the river.

Seal Hat

Seal Bay

Facing the exit of snail village, head down the right side of the river (going west), as you would for the pirate hat. Be sure to cross the bridge and stay on the left side. Seal Bay is located on the shoreline at the end of the river.

You will need to touch one of the seals to get the achievement & hat. Instead of trying to chase them, go into their walk path and wait for them to come to you.

Frog Hat

Frog Swamp

You'll have it by getting to the pond/small lake surrounded by frogs. You can go there in a somewhat easy way: in the starting village, you'll need to get to the "smithing house" (there is an anvil outside of it) and get on the rooftop.

Then, you will have to find the right angle to see, far on your left, the red dome and, on your right side, a "big high rock" with a light on top of it. You'll want to activate the scroll jump, have the right angle to go in between the two landmarks and jump.

Rock Hat

🪨

This hat is behind the largest mountain on the map, visible from Snail Village if your render distance is high enough (same mountain as where the cap is found, in the top-left corner). The hat itself is on a rock in the corner of the map there, in an empty field.

Cat Headphones

A-MAZE-ING!

This achievement requires you to complete the maze that is located down the right path past the picnic across the river.

You will be able to maneuver through the maze easily enough by using your camera to view the potential paths you can take.

Time Hats

N/A

As of patch 1.4.16, you will be rewarded with four different clock hats for playing 1000, 3000, 5000, and 10000 hours. This replaces the prior achievements associated with a higher playtime

Palm Tree

Snisland

In the SouthWest corner of the map, there is an island with two palm trees. Connecting this island to the map is a long bridge.

If you are confident with angled scroll jumps, I would suggest going to the large green tree located near the Unicorn Hat, and angling a jump facing towards the island to speed up your progress. However, if not confident, you can easily snail your way over the bridge.

Hot Dog

Hot Dog.

Located in the Snub (The snail club, accessed by entering through the well in spawn). Once inside the Snub, exit the elevator and head to the left past the bar. The hot dog will be on top of one of the tables. In the current patch (as of 29th Nov 2024) the hot dog does not glow yellow like the other hats, so make sure you’re keeping an eye out for it as well as listening for the chiming.

Propeller

You spin me right round snail right round like a record snail right round round round

Also located in the Snub. Once inside the Snub, exit the elevator and head toward the kitchen in the Center Back of the club. That's where you'll find the propeller hat!

Shark

Don't get Snarky with me!

Once inside the Snub, exit the elevator and walk straight and follow the couches on the right. The shark is on one of the couches on the right.

Hats. Chapter 2

Ghost

Who you gonna snall?

Located in the cemetery. Upon entering the cemetery, you will see a sign in the trees that indicates there are 5 ghosts to collect.

Ghost 1: Floating near the 'Find and touch all 5 ghosts!' sign
Ghost 2: Peaking out of one of the gravestones to the right of the skeleton with the potion
Ghost 3: On the outer left side of the final area of the cemetery
Ghost 4: Next to the crypt at the end of the cemetery
Ghost 5: Floating above the final area of the cemetery with the skeleton and the crypt. I’d suggest hovering (by scroll jumping) directly above ghost 4 to easily grab the ghost

Potion

In front of the crypt at the end of the cemetery there will be a skeleton sitting leaning against a gravestone. Touch the potion in his hand to receive this hat.

Pumpkin

Straight east of the snail village is a large cornfield maze. You can easily scroll jump over the top of the corn if you wish. At the end is a large group of pumpkins. Snail over them to receive the hat

Halo

#SeriouslySoSnoly

At the top of the snairway to sneaven. Seek 'Snairway to Sneaven' and 'At long last' location achievements above for further information. Tip I personally got to the top of the snairway to sneaven via parallel scrollwheel jumping off of the sign at the bottom of the stairs. Making use of the F5 F8 Sneleport Position keybinds, you should be able to find the right angle to boost yourself up to the top. Please note that it still took me ~15 minutes of scroll jumping to reach the top of the snairway, but it saves the multiple days worth of AFKing

Horns

Pure Evil

In Snell, there is large skull near the centre of the map. Carefully make your way inside the mouth and the achievement is yours. This hat coincides with the 'The Maw' location achievement.

Bucket Hat

Survived Snell

There are a series of platforms that you can parkour in snell. At the end, the bucket hat is yours for the taking. Please note that this is said to be the hardest hat to obtain in the game, so good luck!

Reindeer Hat

Reindeer? More like Insneindeer.

Located near the new christmas village at the bottom of the stairway to sneaven. There is a large mountain with a glowing reindeer hat on the peak, this achievement will be given when the hat is gained.

Santa

👀 HE SEES YOU WHEN YOU'RE SNAILING 👀 HE KNOWS WHEN YOU'RE SAYING "HULLO!" 👀

On top of the large Christmas tree in the centre of the new Christmas village located at the bottom of the stairway to sneaven.

Pot

Snell's Snitchen. It's snot a pan, it's a snot. Potty time. Snotty time.

Presents

Three Achievements: 'Tis a snift to be snimple, I present you... with this achievement!, The past is history. The future is a mystery. The present is a wrapped box on a nearly invisible platform in the garden of the The Snailverse. Brand new sentence.

On top of the floating platform above the eastern path leading out of snail village rest three gifts. Touching each of these gifts will give you three different achievements.

Bishop

Checkmate. Sneckmate. Das ist schneckmate.

There is a long path extending off the northwest corner of the map. You'll need to go in this direction for quite some time, but keep in mind that you may need to hop over the connections between each tile as they are quite thin. You are rewarded with a rest area at the end, including the Bishop and Rubber Duck hats. The bishop is located on the coffee table next to the bed (closest to the path).

A potentially faster method is scroll jumping from the location of the pajama hat.

Rubber Duck

Weird lookin' snail. Put it on my bill. What the snuck.

Same as the Bishop hat above. The rubber duck is on the endtable next to the flat screen TV.

Poppies

Snoppies

Go to the most south-western edge of the map (closest landmarks are the unicorn head and the mustache). There is a small, curled peninsula with a single poppy at the end. You can obtain this either by slithering or by jumping.

Lips

Does kissing a frog make you a princess?

At the frog pond, there is one frog with comically large lips. Touching that specific frog will grant you the hat.

Cupid's Bow

Love Dart

On the second floor of the clubhouse, at one of the heart-shaped couches.

Pot o Gold

Pot o' Gold!

Near the cornfield maze with pumpkins you'll see the end of the rainbow with a door that teleports you to the St. Patrick's Day themed platform with a pot of gold.

Alternatively you can teleport to the unicorn hat, scrolljump to the cloudy end of the rainbow and set a checkpoint above the platform.

Stein

Stein Time!

Go northwest from the snail village to the big rock with a candle on top of it and under it you'll see the mini-bar with some steins. You can see the mini-bar from the frog swamp.

Bunny Ears

OMG IT'S THE SNEASTER BUNNY

It's located at the tree close to the bridge from the snail village side.

Sneaster Basket

Near the picnic area you'll see a hill with a bunch of sneaster eggs and basket in the middle of it.

Graduation Hat

Congradusnailtions!

On the left side of the snail village you'll see a Snool with a graduation hat on top of it.

School Bus

Hold up... You can wear that?

On the left side of the snail village you'll see a Snool with a school bus next to it.

Carrot on a Stick

Carrot on a Stick on a Drew Goodname

You can see some ducks with a stick on their heads swimming on the river under the bridge and around the land with flamingo hat. To obtain the hat you have to touch one of these ducks.

Glowsticks

SDM

Once inside the Snub, exit the elevator and walk to the dancefloor on the left. You'll see some glowsticks on the DJ table.

Beach Hat

We may not have snunscreen...

Teleport to the palm tree and you'll see a bench and blanket with a beach hat laying on it.

Visor

...but we do have these stylish hats!

Teleport to the palm tree and you'll see a bench with a visor hat.

Skull Pirate Hat

SNARG!! THE SNERROR OF THE SNEVEN SNEAS, YE BE 🏴‍☠️ 🦜

Close to the island with the palm trees, beach hat and visor you'll see a pirate ship and the pirate hat hanging on the helm. If you want to snailhop your way, use the palm tree as the starting point.

Kazoo

✨SNAZOO✨

On the pirate ship you'll see a sparkling cannon. Jump on it to teleport to the other island and walk across the bridge to get the kazoo hat.

Multiplayer Achievements

The following achievements can be completed only with other snails.

🍵☕

Invite 3 Snail Friends over for tea

The only requirement for this achievement is to be on the Sky Platform with three other snails.

Electric Slide

Sliiiiide your way to the Tesla Tower of Doom

Behind Snail Village, there is a large tesla tower with an electric radius. You can only safely enter when the radius around the tower is tinted blue. Entering while the radius is red will result in your snail's death. The radius only turns blue upon the death of a snail, then a countdown begins until the radius is red once more.

This achievement requires a team effort in which one snail must sacrifice themselves for the rest of the snails, as the radius will only target the snail closest to it.

If the surviving snails are walking across, likely another 2-4 of them will die in the process, so you'd need a big group. For this reason, it's best to jump across after the Sacrificial Snail has done their thing.

This can also be achieved alone by using the snail hop method. A good starting place for this are the presents on the sky platform.

This achievement also grants the safety hat!

What hast thou donest

Inside the crypt at the end of the cemetery, there are 5 podiums with books on top of them. You will require one snail to sit on the top of each book to summon the skull. Upon completion, the hat will appear on top of the summoning circle in the center of the podiums.

Also grants the skull hat!

To summon the skull there needs to be at least one snail on top of each book, and you also need to be on top of a book.
