I think it must be a issue on your end. I've never had that happen to me with my many, MANY, subscribed items.

I suggest cleaning up your computer, expanding the storage, unsubscribing a few addons, maybe a few games, and/or getting a new computer all together.

Okay UPDATE: Uninstalling, unsubcribing, clearing my workshop folder and doing a manual reinstall of all other workshop items after a PC restart helped
