Description
Ever wanted to give those darn zombies a piece of your mind?!
Figuratively speaking, of course!

All the zombies can now hear any chat messages
  • Regular chat messages attract zombies a reasonable distance away
  • Using /yell or typing "!!" in a message makes a noise as loud as a shout
  • Shouted messages are changed to uppercase and play the shout animation
  • Crouching halves the volume of any chat, including shouted messages.

Makes the game more realistic and adds an extra element of danger, giving you more opportunity to use the built in emotes.

Will they hear radio now?
I always wanted to put a walkie-talkie somewhere and use it to attract Zs by yelling something over radio from the safe distance

@Player i think the conditional speech has a setting that makes it so zombies hear your character when they say something (the loudness is descriped as how vibrant the chat color is)

@playerknudsen give it a try with it if you haven't already, fingers crossed it works.

if it's not already compatible (I haven't tried it, but it looks like it does a lot to the player's messages) then I'm afraid it won't be. That would require a decent amount of reverse engineering to figure out what might go wrong :steamsad:

Wait did this change? I know the zombies in passed versions could hear in game chats.
