AEV Narwhal

The "Narwhal" (Named so for the large front-mounted cannon) Autonomous Exploratory Vessel, or AEV, is a versatile scouting submarine, designed specifically to conduct long-range expeditions. It acts as a pretty good autonomous base of operations, offering a larger than average cargo capacity, fabricator, deconstructor and an advanced reactor control system. Unfortunately, versatility comes at a cost of maneuverability and overall firepower, as well as the higher fuel consumption rate.

My first sub. Made this mostly to play with friends. Mostly tested, but some bugs might still emerge. Probably not well-balanced and absolutely not fine-tuned.
Features:

• 4 small turrents and one large turret at the front. Starting turret: Pulse laser, bottom-left.
  
• Built-in reactor automation.
  
• 2 airlocks at the opposite ends of the sub. No more swimming around the sub to get to your destination.
  
• 4 periscopes all around the sub for the rest of the crew to watch the watcher without being smacked by the stun baton for occupying the turret.
  
• Captain-controlled airlock hatches. No more need to yell "CLOSE THE DOOR!". Can also double as an emergency ballast.
  
• Navigation terminal button to disable/enable the ballast pumps. Take that, flora!
  
• Navigation terminal button to seal the command room. In case you wanted to die in peace but that pesky medic insists on saving you.
  
• Navigation terminal button to activate the ship-wide alarm.
  
• Auto-doors with the override switch. Allows you to keep the door open without having to stand nearby.
  
• Fabricator and deconstructor.
  
• Mineral scanner.
