My method for running the game in 2k(2560х1440) resolution. I can’t check about 4k, but it might help.

I tried setting my resolution with -screen-width 2560 -screen-height 1440, and it didn't change anything. Even interacting with the registry did not help. This is the only way I could set the resolution I needed.

  • Change the resolution to 2560x1080. Save and exit the game
  • Right click on game > Properties > General > Launch Option > -window-mode exclusive
  • Start the game again.
    The game will not set your resolution, and that's normal. If you check through regedit, the monitor resolution will be set there
    regedit - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\StudioNanafushi\DeadOrSchool

Yes, now the game is a little closer, but it doesn’t look as soapy as at 1920x1080. It got better for me personally.
