Updated for 1.8

The doctrine's triggering is now conditional, thanks to new modding tools available in 1.7. Meaning, it won't trigger for any war goals that don't take territory or attempt to turn the country into a subject. You can now freely declare Ban Slavery war on Brazil!

Tired of the USA doing nothing to stop encroachment into the Americas? This is the mod for you!

this should be in vanilla, i think european powers just snatching up south american countries willy nilly as if it were nothing and the usa practically never doing anything to oppose them is ahistorical and ridiculous

The Monroe Doctrine is currently invoked in revolts against already existing european colonies such as Canada. Is this WAD?

Currently in 1.7, it will get the USA to join the target nation side and add a humiliate war goal for the USA and the aggressor nation. No option to back down. I do hope this mod (and others from you, Kate the Sybyl) can be updated for 1.7, thanks for the fun I've had thus far and hoping for more!
