Clues
1st Clue
The password is three numbers long. That means, 1 box 1 digit. So the numbers are 0-9.

2nd Clue
Second number is divisible by 3.

3rd Clue
Third number is a factor of 20.

4th Clue
Second number is even.

5th Clue
Second number minus first number is neither positive nor negative.

6th Clue
First number and third number added together equals a multiple of 5.

7th Clue
Third number is not prime.

First Step
Clues:
  • 2nd number is divisible by 3.
  • 2nd number is even.

Solution:
  1. Numbers are even = 2,4,6,8
  2. Numbers that can be divisible by 3 = 6
  3. 2nd number = 6
Second Step
Clues:
  • 3rd number is a factor of 20.
  • 3rd number is not prime.

Solution:
  1. A factor in math term meaning any number that can be multiplied by another number to equal the desired number. Factor of 20:
    • 1 x 20 = 20
    • 2 x 10 = 20
    • 4 x 5 = 20
    • 3rd number is a factor of 20 = 1,2,4,5

  2. Prime number explanation; 3rd number is not prime = 1,4,6,8,9

  3. 3rd number = 4
Third Step
Clues:
  • 2nd number = 6
  • 3rd number = 4
  • 2nd number - 1st number = 0, because the number is neither positive nor negative.
  • 1st number + 3rd number = numbers that can be multiple by 5, 1,5,10,15,20,...

Solution:
  1. 2nd number - 1st number = 0
    • 6 - 6 = 0
    • 1st number = 6

  2. 1st number + 3rd number = numbers that can be multiple by 5.
    • 6 + 4 = 10
    • 10 / 2 = 5
    • 2 x 5 = 10
    • 1st number = 6 is correct.
Conclusion.
The password to unlock the door is = 6 6 4.
Now I know why math is (kinda) important for life.

You're welcome. I loved it too and quite interesting questions you have there :lunar2020thinkingtiger:, but we don't know what happens next :cool_prosec:

got it and thank you for your game <3 and I got some questions about it. the cute researcher said "I should lock the door behind me, too. Just in case the thing outside gets in from the hallway." I think the player don't have the choice to lock the door...(so I wonder why she said that)
and maybe I'm not very good at English, I'm not very clear about what's going on with "my" words. She said "Wait, a threat inside the building? That the emergency locks were supposed to contain?" I thought there just have one monster, that specimen, but what's the "threat"... what's inside the building? And also, at first the specimen is outside, but when she finished reading the diary, why the specimen just inside.
I love the surrounding, the atmosphere, the background and puzzles, but obviously I'm not the best player who can control everything

Opposite for me :crying_yeti: I hate the dinosaur math but the last puzzle is very easy for me. The A & B in the combined-bugs picture stands for each bugs.

Spoiler for the answer bugs picture:
A is Caterpillar Number 2
B is Dragonfly Number 7
