Description

A cultural overhaul of the much loved map of Industrial 17. It has been fitted with a City 24 style to it, with both minor and major changes appropriating multiple areas. There are limited re-architectural designs in the map, as the desire is to keep the original feel of the map as close to the original as possible.

There WILL BE bugs. Please feel free to report any visual issues for us to observe and fix them. The map is also compatible with Stormfox 2.

These are the following changes:

Flags and propaganda added.
Removal of idle and animated ragdolls from the NEXUS.
Medical Clinic minor extension (extra rooms).
Altered factory zone (removed manufactorums, free to prop your own factory.)
Removed the current city-wide manual broadcasts (AKA: the buttons. Custom sounds are in progress and will be provided in a future update.)
Vortigaunt cave & cavern systems, ritual art sprawled across the sewers.
Additional hidden rebel base / hideout.
Removed props from *most* buildings and rooms, allows freedom of propping.
Outlands area shortened (most farthest area removed.)
Combine outpost in outlands has base props removed.
Harbour area train-wreck removed (for easier use of vehicles / event propping.)
New addition to the slums
Reorganization of the NEXUS
New offices
Various improvements and bug fixes
Propaganda building has a new floor w/ a broadcasting stage


When one considers the general amenities of the most loyal city on Earth, they often do not consider the pounding machinery of factories, the smog covered skies of production or the endless shifts of poorly rewarded work. Or, at least, not nearly as much.

Industrial Twenty-four is a production centre built specifically for those who do not match the standards of its nearby mother city. Built with production in mind, and little else, it makes up for the production lost due to the comparatively limited workload managed by denizens of City 24. Those who arrive at this location are low-level criminals who have offended the Combines rule in ways that are less severe, but still noteworthy. Loyalists are also common sights in this area, specifically those who have fallen astray from their duties, and let the instinct of corruption corrode their values.

Such individuals will find themselves corrected via the inferno of industry in back-breaking shifts and thoughtless Civil Protection Units that care not for the suffering of locals. Rations are all low quality, and typical boons residents may be used to will be nowhere to be found. Though at its core it is a productive center, this location is a reminder of just how "terrible" these delinquents have when compared to those in the heartland of Geneva. An open invitation that they should remain in the good graces of the Combine - lest they be shipped off to a City far less kindly than Twenty-four.

the weird purple texture is in a lot of other places so im just gonna guess it is a glitched out mural/sketch texture for the walls

hey astro, checking around the map, very pretty! in the nexus area, one of the terminal controls for the elevator near the top isn't attached to the elevator itself

@Chief Seattle Can I ask where you encountered these bugs? As to my knowledge, the multiple people who have and continue to test this map haven't reported said bugs.
