More Players 4.2 test 2

Description
An 8 player build of Barony.
Changing install instructions in consideration of future vanilla updates.

To Install:
Copy your barony folder to another location.
Subscribe to mod and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\371970\3130073913
drag the contents of the mod folder to your second Barony folder and overwrite when prompted.
Launch the game by double clicking barony_MP.exe Do NOT launch through steam as that will launch vanilla Barony. When you first install you MUST remove your scores.dat AND scores_multiplayer.dat
otherwise you WILL CRASH. Also make sure to delete models.cache to prevent visual bugs.

I have opened this to online play but it should prevent you from playing with people who don't have the mod in order to prevent issues.

This was made for steam on windows so any other platform/os may not work

Guys I'm pretty sure someone made a more up to date version of this already. Also no I'm pretty sure exe mods aren't compatible with epic.

@FracturedPixel you may have to delete your scoreboard files with steam autocloud off, assuming you didn't try to load this from the barony mod loader

or maybe it was the regular exe? either way, you'll know its 8 players if you have arrows to page left/right on the player/lobby menu

Thanks! It worked for me like Redskull said. Change the game to beta 4.2.1 and run the MP exe. I just extracted the game to the main folder and hope it won't update in the future lol.

That worked with 6 players <3
