Glowing Mining Nodes

In 1 collection by Aiue
Glowing Mining Nodes (base game + Dragonborn)
2 items
Description
Makes mining nodes glow. Colour will vary depending on what kind of ore it yields. Should require no DLC, but until anyone has verified this, I will make no promises in that regard.

Note: Sometimes ore deposits may fail to begin to load, looking into what may cause this. Currently functioning most of the time, at least. If you're loading a previous save that did not have this mod, it could cause ore deposits to fail to start glowing.

If you also want the nodes introduced in the Dragonborn DLC to glow, you should get this one and Glowing Mining Nodes (Dragonborn).

Personally I would advice using a texture replacer instead of this one. I don't know if there are any for oldrim, but SSE has one.

Is there a less popart alternative?

Hm. Haven't played much lately. Might look into it, assuming my machine can handle it.

It did work last time I played, which was .. somewhat recently. Let me start up the game and have a look.

To be honest it just looks like colourful, chunky puke :P
But still, good work? No offence :D

I was able to find the old files and copy them over, but I don't remember how I actually did it originally.

You could probably replace the default textures. In fact, that method would in many regards be far better than what I have done here. Alas, working with textures is not among my strengths.
