What an experience now, connecting pc to TV!
1. Create your own overlay file sprint.gamepad.overlay in the Gothic/System directory;
2. Subscribe to the sprint patch ;
3. Run the game and in the controls option make sure that the right shift and comma keys is not binded to other actions.
More about overlays see on the wiki [github.com] page.
Unfortunately I've added said disable "code" - just before my "code" - but still no success. I am wondering what I am doing wrong
LB button already defined as the walk mode in the standard controls. Before the your code you should disable the previous definition: KeyDisable Controls.WalkMode .
I tried to add to your file below, but doesnt work (defualt key for sprint is right shift)
This is for mod: Infinite running
KeyRecord
Id Sprint
Combination JOY_LB
Emulation KEY_RSHIFT, KEY_COMMA
Condition !Cond_InterfaceIsOpen, !Cond_InventoryIsOpen, !Cond_VideoIsOpen, !JOY_LB
The option useQuickSaveKeys can break the quick save. To use this feauture, you should add a dependency on some plugin or patch like this - for gothic 2 and gothic 1
