Description
The RSC 1917 was a french semi automatic battle rifle deployed in WW1, being the first ever semi automatic rifle deployed anywhere.
It had a pretty complicated loading mechanism (as depicted in this contraption) which wasn't handy in the trenches, there were later iterations of the 1917 and then later the 1918 that made this mildly better, but still was a hassle to reload.
It didn't earn a good reputation for its reliability either, it was prone to jamming especially in the muddy trenches of WW1.

the clicking is actually guns that i modified with object editor to have infinite fire delay, so they make a dryfire sound instead different guns have different dryfire sounds

i am just extremely lazy i’d love for more people to make these kinds of guns but i am just too lazy to make a tutorial cause it would take hours to make and would be at least 45 minutes long (these guns take anywhere from 4-8 hours to make)

the musket isn’t broken really, ppg is just really weird and breaks it by itself, if it doesn’t fire you just have to respawn it or take out the cartridge and put it in again
