Fort Taifa

Description
Rommel's Afrika Korps have been defeated at El Alamein. B Squadron of the Queen's Royal Hussars and elements of veteran 1st Battalion, 6th Rajputana Rifles have been ordered to capture Saladin Hill and Fort Taifa, which will cut off the Axis retreat. As dawn slowly breaks, the British launch their surprise attack.

Defending the hill are elements of the tough 2.Zug, 433.Infantrieregiment, and a small but determined garrison in the fort. Feldwebel van Hoose of the 15.Panzerregiment is also in the area with his platoon of PzIIIs, and ready to give the Britishers a surprise of their own...

Recommendation: best played with Initial or Full FOW

Really enjoyed putting this together and researching it. Fictional scenario but based on real events / units. Also thank you for helping me with the play test, which was really valuable

very good and original scenario, to play in multiplayer. The weather conditions mean that the English player initially benefits from darkness to take the hill, but as the day dawns, the challenge becomes more and more difficult to take the fort.:steamthumbsup:
