Panama Defense Forces
(Spanish: Fuerzas de Defensa de Panamá; FFDD)

This is an addon which adds a Historically Accurate depiction of the Noriega aligned Panama Defense Forces from 1989 at the time of the US Invasion of Panama in Operation Just Cause. The addon includes all major units that saw combat against US Forces during Operation Just Cause. The mod also adds Spanish Voice protocols for all 600 something Arma 3 lines.

Featured Units:
Battalion 2000 (Prov. de Panamá ) - based at Fort Cimarron and had three line companies; "Eagle", "Fury", and "Mechanized" (with AFV's) plus Fire Support Company. Bn 2000 also had two attached units, 1st Infantry and Fire Support Company "Tiger" and 2nd Infantry Airborne Company "Puma" which was the nationwide rapid reaction force. Equipped with the most modern equipment of the PDF like PASGT Kevlar helmets and BDU type uniforms, uniforms almost identical to US Military uniforms of the time. So similar to US Uniforms that during the invasion US Troops had to wear white engineer tape and fashion "Cabbage patch" scrims made up of shredded BDUs to change their profile.

Military Police Battalion "Victoriano Lorenzo" - Infantry crossed trained as Military Police, consisted of the 5th (Ft Amador) and 8th (Ft Espinar) Infantry Companies.

Third Red Devils Infantry Company of Chiriquí, support for the Paz Battalion - Unit was posted on the Costa Rican coast at Chriqui, far away from combat in Operation Just Cause. Commander of the unit was wanted by the DEA for drug trafficking.

Sixth Expeditionary Infantry Company, (Mechanized)- Mechanized Infantry unit based out of the PDF base at Rio Hato.

Seventh Macho de Monte Infantry Company, Commander Escort- Considered one of Noriega's most loyal and elite units, this unit named after a type of vicious boar was considered a type of Special Forces unit which had connections to the Cuban Military. It is suspected to be involved in the 1988 raid on the US Military Arraijan fuel tank farm. “Guerilla” unit variants are included dressed in civilian clothes which was common procedure for the Seventh Macho De Monte.

Unidad Especial de Seguridad Antiterror (U.E.S.A.T.) - An Israeli trained counter-terrorism strike force based out of Flamenco Island.

1st Public Order Co. "Doberman" & 2nd Public Order Co. "Centurion" -Well Armed Police units, the PDF's infamous Riot police.

Dignity Battalions "Dingbats" -While not actually formerly part of the PDF, these ragtag Militias were unpredictable. Armed with anything from Anti-tank rocket launchers to WW2 era weaponry.

Vehicles
This addon includes the UH-1H series helicopters which were flown by the Panama Defense Forces. The M38A1 Jeep which was used by the Panama Defense Forces is in the addon, however it is a part of the S&S mod and due to an unknown error it cannot be retextured at this time and will have either US Military or Dutch military livery.

Coming Soon/Work In Progress
-Taiwanese T-65 Assault Rifle (Model Finished) needs to be textured and imported/scripted into Arma 3
-More units (Third Red Devils and Sixth Expeditionary are still works in progress, more to come)
-More historically accurate vehicles and weapons using "Soft Dependency" ,adding more units using DLC/mods but not mandatory for Addon to work (If you do not have the addon/DLC the specific unit will just not show up in editor) Will likely do this with SOG Prairie fire

[s]Also not a mod but this addon has soft compatible content with SOG Prairie Fire and having that CDLC loaded will add a large amount of units, vehicles, static weapons, etc :) Plus it's the best CDLC for Arma 3 period. You can turn off the changed menu in options if it bothers you.[/s](UPDATE-COMPLETED!)
