TWO PALMS RA-14c SCOUT

Hello! and welcome to this little corner of the Two Palm R&D department. Here at Two Palms, we have been researching in unison with Earth Federation forces on a Light Mobile Suit for use with armored recon units and Mobile Suit teams as a smaller armored unit that can support infantry in close-quarters engagements like those experienced by MS teams in the Southeast Asian jungles. due to the small nature of the Short-range Close-quarters Offensive Unit - Two Palms or S.C.O.U.T. For short, it is not uncommon to see these things take back-line roles as they stood no chance against larger Mobile Suits. The RA-14c would find a home mainly in holding federation gains, supporting infantry squads, and for use as an Armored reconnaissance vehicle (AKA I made this thing up from scratch and wanted to fit it into an era like that of 08th MS team)


while being such a small vehicle this thing packs everything you would need for a Run through the Jungle.

• AN ABSOLUTELY BLISTERING TOP SPEED OF roughly 14mph
  
• A fully sealed interior meaning it can be fully submerged
  
• 40mm gun sporting 100 rounds
  
• arm-mounted rockets as a last-ditch defense
  
• Infinite range due to its witchcraft engine (infinite power generator)
  
• ability to slide around on knee skis
  
• NVGs that fold down complete with a triple illuminator on a separate switch
  
• a completely modular backpack design, each hard point gets two composite inputs (on Chanel one and two) allowing for the use of backpacks with specific functions in the future.

controls on this little egg-shaped lad are pretty simple

[W/S] Controls forward and backward
[A/D] Control Left and right movement respectively
[Up/Down] Controls the Up and down aim of the guns
[1] toggle standing (Note if you are running hit 1 to slide on the knee skis!)
[2] Switch weapon selection (while you can still use the designated button in the cockpit for this I find a key bind in a pinch is much better. [0 = safety, 1 = heavy auto-cannon, 2 = Rocket pod]
[3-4] are for the modular backpack design allowing you to toggle items on the backpack at a glance!
[5] cuts the ropes on the top should a parachute be used
[6] Locks the top hatch so you cant get rodeoed

startup

getting into this vehicle can be quite tough, I recommend using the handles on the back right side to get on the right arm and then jump up from there.

once inside look for the key that is labeled "Main Power" and turn it

hit [1] to stand and walk toward victory!

I know the legs like to shake a bit when standing, not sure how to fix it but it makes it no less enjoyable From what I can tell.
After some handy suggestions by the community, this should be fixed now?
