I love this mod, adds so much life to my characters rooms and it's something else to cheer them up. Thanks for this!

I can confirm. Either change the assignment or forbid its use don't work.

I noticed this with the Ulfen painting if that helps

Survivors do not seem to care if a painting is not assigned to them, they will go into someone else's room and cheer at it anyway

Hi all, thanks for the feedback. I added the option to set owner for the paintings. Let me know if it works as it should :)
I will see if I'll manage to to do something that counters the "cave dweller" debuff but if it requires dwelling into the code - it will be out of my league since I use only the editors :/

(Reads Omega13's comment, and considers). Setting aside the obvious work-around to not put the paintings into bedrooms (which ignores that half the reason players want to HAVE these things is to decorate those painfully spartan specious bedrooms). You could have some other decor items (even more paintings) that aren't relaxation observables, but instead counter the "cave dweller" happiness debuff. That would be nicely immersive. "I'm happy my bedroom is a cozy place, even if I don't stop and spend 30 minutes staring at this painting every day."
My only hesitation is that we've probably put down flooring on the whole interior anyway, so the effect of a decor item would be moot.
