TREKORION: Gallant-Class Light Cruiser | Tri (8 Slot)

This very unique design was primarily inspired by a unique 23rd century ship, though I forget the name - it was a one-off prototype that attempted to integrate Andorian warp tech into the Starfleet design, but ultimately failed its tests and saw limited service.

The only other related ship I could ever find information on was the USS Fortitude from just before the turn of the 25th century in the 2380s, with a render found here; https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1xn9E8

Regardless of that backstory, the Gallant is a re-imagining of those ideals to integrate Andorian warp technology as a secondary solution for patrolling without the integration of 2 additional warp nacelles, which in this era of Starfleet dramatically increased forward sustainment costs
