Description
This mod allows you to make some of the ingame buildable walls indestructable for zombies.
Sounds OP? Yes, but for some of the objects you can now adjust their cost to ease your mind!

Currently Supported
Metalworking
Any Supported object here can have their cost adjusted in your Sandbox-Settings
  • Big Wire Fence
  • Big Wire Fence Double Door
  • Big Pole Fence
  • Big Pole Fence Single door
  • Big Pole Fence Double Door
Carpentry
To be able to Adjust the Log Wall's costs, you need to enable the second mod of this item, however, this might introduce incompatibilities with other building mods
  • Log Wall
  • Wooden Door
  • Wooden Double Door
How to use?
Simply check your Sandbox-Settings and edit the corresponding setting
If you Add this to and existing game nothing will change, unless you have a mod that lets you edit your settings.
In Singleplayer, if you change any setting after the game already started, make sure to reload the game after you changed any settings.

Should work fine in Multiplayer

BINDB.bigWireFence true BINDB.bigWireFenceMetalPipes 3 BINDB.bigWireFenceScrapMetal 4 BINDB.bigWireFenceWire 3 BINDB.bigWireFenceGate true BINDB.bigWireFenceGateMetalPipes 8 BINDB.bigWireFenceGateScrapMetal 2 BINDB.bigWireFenceGateWire 4 ........

2.- luego en la carpeta hay un archivo llamado mods.txt deberán agregar el mod, quedaría algo así

VERSION = 1,

mods
{
mod = BINDB,
}

maps
{
}

I was looking for a mod like this. I'm getting tired of 1 zombie destroying a door or gate, making the place almost useless.

PS: The existing singleplayer world had the Unbreakable Metal Fences + Gates! (Build 41+) mod prior to changing to this one, and several other mods

Hi, im having a little issue, i tried adding this to an existing world in singleplayer, I saw people referencing to editing the "map_sand.bin" file, so ive tried several times changing the values from false to true in different ways, but every time i load the save the wallls are still destructible and map_sand.bin reverts back to false.
(Ps: File im editing is located in: C:\Users\"Username"\Zomboid\Saves\Sandbox\"Savegame Name")

To be clear, the mod works fine in a new SP save, but i want to mowe away from Unbreakable Metal Fences + Gates! (Build 41+) over to your mod in MP. as it feels more correct that any metal fence will be unbreakble, not just the mesh fence

Anyone have any idea what im doing wrong?
It might ofcourse be a mod imcompatibility. causing this, but im unsure how i would look for a missmatch

Falkner that would be an amazing idea for a mod

I'm still looking for a mod that makes metal walls/fences *almost* indestructible,
Immune to clawing but they will collapse if too many ( >20?) zombies are pressing against them (like vanilla wooden picket fence - i hope the code is easy to copy paste),
That way there's still a good reason to keep the numbers down or else face a tidal wave of Z.

I used this mode and started a new game. The log walls were destroyed. Could it be a problem related to more builds? Or do I have to check the box in the sandbox setting before starting? I thought it was for only adjusting the cost. Sorry for bothering. :)
