The Pioneer Zephyr

The Pioneer Zephyr was at the forefront of the streamlining craze for North American railroading, being introduced only months after Union Pacific's M10000 (widely considered to be america's first streamliner). On May 26th, 1934, the train set a new record for travel from Denver to Chicago in a blisteringly fast 13 hours and 5 minutes, reaching a top speed of 112 miles per hour through Nebraska. The train continued in regular passenger service until 1960, when it was donated to the Museum Of Science And Industry in Chicago, where it remains to this day.

This mod presents the trainset as it debuted during the Dawn To Dusk run mentioned above, meaning it has it's original three car configuration and its original single headlight. The headlight and the marker lights on the locomotive and observation car can be activated with L, and all interior lights are activated with Shift+L. The mod is also fully hitboxed, meaning it is fully compatible with the new miniature mode movement system.
