The World after Valkyrie:

The events of Operation Valkyrie in 1944 led to an unexpected turn. The success of the operation allowed a group of high-ranking German officers to come to power, forming a junta focused on a peace agreement with the Allies.

Germany and the Allies:
The junta assumed responsibility for the leadership of the country and decided to conclude a truce with France, Great Britain and the United States. This unexpected course of events gave Germany the opportunity to concentrate its forces in the fight against the Soviet Union.

The retreat of the Soviet forces:
The German forces, liberated by peace with the West, were coordinated for a counterattack against the Soviet Union. Germany managed to successfully push back Soviet troops, regaining control of the Baltic States, Belarus and partly Ukraine.

Restructuring of Eastern Europe:
After the retreat of Soviet troops, Germany restructured the occupied territories. In the Baltic States, Belarus and Poland, controlled governments were established, cooperating with the German administration.

Post-war changes:
Germany has become a key participant in the new geopolitical reality, and the changes in Europe have left long-term traces on world history.
