Italian Feudal Architecture Set [AoF]

Descrizione
SUMMARY:
This mod reskins the current Italian Western-European Feudal architecture set to a unique Italian Feudal architecture set. All Italian Feudal Age buildings shown in the preview image above are reskinned. In addition, several modifications are made to associated building shadows and fire damage graphics.

GAME VERSION:
This modification is for the DLC expansion, AoF.

MULTIPLAYER:
Multiplayer compatibility is not affected for AoE2HD. If you wish to play using the mod in AoF multiplayer, all players will need to install this mod for compatibility purposes.

INSTALLATION:
To install, click the "Subscribe" button. Then start the game, but do NOT click and bypass the developer introduction videos (Microsoft Game Studios, Ensemble Studios, Hidden Path Entertainment, and Skybox Labs). It is during these videos that the mod is being downloaded.

Once you get to the main menu, exit the game and relaunch but again do NOT click and bypass the introduction videos. It is during the second launch videos that the mod is being installed. After the videos are done playing, the mod should be installed.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
If the above installation steps don't work, navigate to your Steam AoE2HD mods directory:
\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD\mods

Then verify that the "italian feudal architecture set [aof]" file exists. If not, there was a download problem and you will need to unsubscribe and subscribe again.

If you see the mod file but it did not install, you can manually install the mod by first opening it with your favorite archiving program (i.e. WinRAR, WinZip, etc.). Open the "Data" folder you now see, and extract "empires2_x2_p1.dat" to your AoE2HD Data folder:
\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD\Data

Finally, open the "Slp" folder inside the "Data" folder of the mod file. Extract all SLP files inside to your AoE2HD Slp folder:
\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD\Data\Slp

CREDITS:
All building images were created by Pesqueira, all building graphic credits go to him. My work involved anchoring each graphic, modifying building shadows and fire animations, and generating the SLPs for the game to use. In addition, I performed all data editing to enable this Italian Feudal Age Architecture set for AoF.

Please rate this mod if you enjoy it, as it took a good deal of effort from both of us to create. Thanks!

Thank you all, and credit goes to Pesqueira for his amazing graphics!

I've requested the developers fix data file mods so that we can have architecture mods working again: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/221380/discussions/0/496881136902074713/

Please show your support in that thread so hopefully data file mods can be fixed for the future!
