Myriad Legends

Description
A quick cooperative or competitive medieval fantasy dice game for your tabletop.
Use a pool of dice to represent a fantasy character, become as powerful as possible, and acquire the most wealth and experience to become one of the heroes of Myriad Legends[/u].


Object of the game:
Have the highest total shown on the face(s) of your wealth and experience dice when the dice bag is empty and the game ends.



Dice Actions

any color • Hit
Expend a die to restore another die of the same color by 1 more than the amount expended

any color • Upkeep
Expend a die to restore a die of the same type by an equal amount

Red • Health
No action, but if all health dice in a pool are depleted, that dice pool is defeated. (Heroes always have at least one red die)

Pink • Healing {magic}
Expend to restore health dice in any pool(s) by a total of 1 more than the amount expended
E.g. expend a healing die by 4 to restore one or more health dice by a total of 5

Orange • Fire {magic}
Expend to damage equal to twice the amount expended to 2 or more targets, dividing damage as evenly as possible
E.g. expend a fire die by 2 to damage two targets for 2 each
or
expend an fire die by 4 to damage three targets for 8 total divided 3, 3, and 2


Yellow • Wealth <mundane>
Expend to take a <mundane> die from a hero, monster, or your hand. The <mundane> die which is taken must have an equal or lower value than the amount expended. Minimum value rolled is increased by the amount expended.
E.g. expend a wealth die by 3 to take a <mundane> die from your hand, treating any rolled number as at least a 3

Green • Poison {magic}
Expend to damage a target by 1, and force them to expend their dice by twice the amount you expended.

Blue • Mana {magic}
Expend to roll a {magic} die in any pool, or take a {magic} die from your hand. Minimum or maximum value rolled (your choice) is increased or decreased, respectively, by the amount expended
E.g. expend a mana die by 2 to take a {magic} die from your hand, treating any rolled number as at least a 2
or
expend a mana die by 3 to roll a {magic} die from a monster, treating any rolled number as at most a 4


Purple • Experience
After normal looting, in reverse turn order, may expend to take additional dice (and/or reroll dice taken) a number of times equal to the amount expended. This is a free action.

Black • Bow & Arrows <mundane>
Damage a target for one more than the amount expended. As a free action, may be used right before being damaged, or right after if damaged by a --ranged-- die.

White • Sword <mundane>
Damage a target equal to the value of the die, then restore once. If the sword die is at 6 value, deplete it instead of restoring.

Tan • Armor <mundane>
Reduce non-{magic} damage received by 1, not stacking with more armor. May expend to further reduce any damage received. This is a free action.
E.g. a monster damages a hero for 4 and the hero expends their armor die by 2 to take 3 less damage
