Realistic Used Trucks Dealer

Creators: SomeNordGuy, SCS Software

Increases the mileage to typical market offerings.

Changes the minimum mileage to 10,000 Miles and the maximum to 3,200,000 kilometers, other real world improvements.

Changes the ratios slightly to indicate an In Real Life truck purchasing experience.

Reduces the unfixible wear/limit down to 1/10 of original settings.

Mileage and wear depends on your profile level and other factors.

Due to decreasing the maximum non-repairable damage, the overall value of these trucks is higher than the Original SCS used truck market settings, so lower profiles may see higher than new prices on used trucks.

>1.49.1.x = Due to a large number of requests, added defs for older trucks into new dealer = 0 mileage older SCS trucks will show up in your Mod Dealer

>1.49.3.x = Due to a large number of requests, increased available truck count in used dealer

Update: Sometime in the last updates the damage disappeared from the used trucks when this mod is used.
(high miles, completely fixed, except for unfixable%)

The vanilla game engine was modified or improved for upcoming developments.

This means yes, all trucks are fully repaired fixable-damaged when purchased, but permanent damage is still there.

Trucks are still higher than 100% damage rate. Meaning it costs more to restore these used trucks than a vanilla used truck. but these trucks wear at a slower rate much like IRL trucks.

SCS developers do not support mods but the engine changes mean that better things are coming and this mod may be obsolete when that change comes.

I appreciate your patronage in using this MOD. I am only updating the STEAM version from now on. Thanks and Drive Safe.

It takes a few cycles of the game engine (in game days) for the "loaded" used trucks that were picked by the game engine's randomizer to cycle through.

The answer is to play more and disable my truck discount mod if you have that installed also.

I recently disabled this mod because I didn't want older trucks in the dealers, but that didn't change regardless of how much I tried. I have no other mods that bring older trucks into the dealers. The only other mods that use that modify the SCS trucks are Eugene's Scania P G R S mod and vad&k's DAF XF 105; only the Scanias (NG R/S) from Eugene's mod are broken in the truck explorer for reasons that I do not currently know. Is there any way I can fix this?

This mod is dependent on the game engine, which only has a single tier for the randomizer currently. You are quite welcome to spend your time developing the code and understanding the engine to fit your own personal needs. Until then, there are thousands of subscribers that will get royally pissed if i make changes to this project's work statement or agenda.

Ok scratch that, newer than 2013 should be 750,000 miles, older than 2013 can be 1,250,000 miles, and newer than 2019 should be 350,000 miles.

Also adding my ideas of the mileage cap improvements; Trucks older than 2013 should have a max mileage in the used dealer of 1,200,000 miles. Trucks newer than 2013 should cap at about 600,000 miles. And finally, trucks newer than 2018 should cap at about 300,000 miles.

Mileages are actually quite unrealistic actually.
I got a MAN TGX E6 with 1,849,522 miles.
So I decided to go online and look for the average mileage of a specifically 2014 MAN TGX. The highest I found was 1,335,012 miles. Also I found multiple FH6 and S-Ways with over 1 million kilometers, which is unrealistic because they are both from 2023-2024. PLEASE,make the mileage min to max different for specific trucks if possible.
