Description
Half-Life: Zheptics

You are Alyx, who was sent on a mission with her brother for the resistance. As you explore the forgotten research facility 'Zheptics' from Black Mesa, things start to spiral out of control, culminating in a finale with everything at stake.

Expect classic campaign gameplay of about 5 hours playtime with new ideas, mechanics and environments coming with custom models, materials und particles.

!!! You need to download and activate all related workshop entries (see REQUIRED ITEMS) before you start the map 'intro' !!!

The intended difficulty to play is "normal". You can play it on "hard", but it will be siginficantly more difficult than the base game.

Absolutely incredible! The best and most innovative modification of HL: Alyx.
I had no idea that the original gameplay could be changed so extensively and ingeniously. Perfect!

Just finished the first chapter and I have to give you credit, this is the best HL:A mod I've played so far. Ammo is tight in a way that makes you more mindful without feeling unfair, and the bias in healing resources away from healing stations and towards syringes is very smart. Combine fights feel more dangerous, a little closer to something you'd encounter in traditional Half-Life, while always feeling totally fair. In terms of pure game design it's better than the official campaign imo, because the encounter design is more ambitious without feeling like BS.

I'll just say that I didn't like the opening with getting stuff to the car, and the first enemy being those little exploding things was a poor choice. The opening sells it short. Everything else is incredible and this is a must-play.

Einfach erstaunlich! Ausser einige Bugs und diesem "sync"-Teil (der hoch ziemlich innovativ bleibt) hatte ich einer der besten Moderfahrungen meines Lebens!!! Es waere bisschen besser natuerlich, wenn einige der benutzten Assets mehr Black Mesa selbst entspricht haette (ich meine, dass einige Originalassets aus HL:Alyx kyrillische Buchstaben und postsowjetische Elemente enthalten, was teilweise zu der Immersionsunterbrechung fuert). Das wahnsinn kreative Meisterwerk, die ich das Glueck zu erleben hatte, verdient allerdings nur das höchstese Lob und Dank! Bravo!! Es erstaunt mich sogar mehr, dass in diesem Projekt nur um einen Einzelnentwickler geht... Ich werde Zheptics meinen Freund:Innen empfehlen und hab habe bereits die Steam-Token verschickt -- nochmals tausend Dank für diese Kampagne! Who has the time to create an awesome mod? Brainstorm, that's who. This mod is nearly as big as the original Half Life: Alyx. No seriously. The absolute most time I ever spent playing a mod is 3 hours. Half-Life: Zheptics took me 3 weekends. It is the longest mod. A mod with the most carefully thought out puzzles. Combat is difficult but not too difficult. Jump scares at a reasonable minimum. music is off the chart. ambiance is perfect. story and story mechanics that are the best I have ever seen. This mod is an absolute MUST for any fan of VR

Esto literalmente podria llegar a ser un juego aparte del half life o un dlc, es espectacular, la mejor campaña de half life alyx que jugue

Really fun map! The puzzles are interesting, the voice work is great and the set design is amazing. This also contains what might be the most clever use of Jeff in the entire workshop.
Acrophobics beware: you're gonna suffer.
The bomb corridors are a bit aggravating, tho.
