Disable Spear Stab

Description
Tired of death from stab animation when you killing a horde of zombies with your spear?
With that mod you can forget about that animation and your next death will be because of your skill issue.

WARNING: THIS MOD REQUIRES MANUAL INSTALLATION.

Installation:
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3092075807\mods\ModTemplate
Move directory "zombie" to your game directory with replacement.

Works in SP/MP Build 41.
That mod doesn't require server side so it can be installed without adding to list of server's mods

it's possible that b42 supported instantly, but you have to try it in local game (check that it works and game don't crash) also it may work but new animations may break (if there any).
if it won't work, please write here and i will try to find some time to support b42

@k1osha As far as I know part of the problem with the base game is that it checks within a radius around the targeted zombie rather than around the player. Although in addition to that, the 1.7 radius might be a bit too small as well (and much too small vs sprinters)

no, it may be required to reinstall mod after game update, but never after game closing

@xdikrabx go and delete the file that you added to your zombie directory, then in steam validate the files.

I don't want it removed, just make it trigger increased the distance between zombies, for regular even +1 tile would be enough to avoid close calls and for sprinters 8-10 tiles would also be enough, but 100 tiles is just unnecessary. The animation is good, it's the only part of the spear that is immersive/realistic/balanced, it just needs polish and this sadly isn't it for me.
