I sent you a friend request if you'd like to talk more about our process. We do have a guide on our discord and a video in the works for people to learn how to port idtech3 maps themselves.

We recreated the IdTech3 "patches" ourselves with a bit of streamlined efficiency by dividing the work load amongst two people. Some architecture was imported into blender and exported as a model when applicable.

Are there new methods/tools to port these? The main thing that stopped me was manually recreating IDTech3 curves in brushes
