@JC Denton Depends on the skill and armor of the opponent. hitting anyone with what is essentially a hammer (at geralts speed anyway) like that will definitely catch someone off guard at best if it doesn't connect, and have them lurch over if unarmored, or hopefully shove them back if armored. would it work irl? I don't see why it wouldn't unless whoever it's used on has definitely seen the trick before and knows to expect and capitalize on it.

Really? I don't know anything about sword fighting but I'd bet my shiniest dollar that bumping someone with the hilt of the sword is not an effective sword fighting move in real life... unless that's supposed to be a feint to trick the opponent or something.

That looks remarkably like a form I memorized way back as a teenager. I don't even own a sword now. But I remember that every step and gesture toward the end there is far more valuable than people seem to understand. It's cool to see that the game developers valued real world practices that are more common than the cinematic sparring seen in films.

The fighting style in here was the best out of the 3 games not more fun to play but way more advanced. How technical Geralt is with the sword in this game in incredible
