Early Isometric RPG Engine (Hiring Graphics Artist)

Description
!!!!!!FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!!!

!!!!!!ALL RESOURCES USED ARE OPEN SOURCE AND TEMPORARY AND NONE OF THEM WILL REFLECT THE FINAL GAME IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, FORM, OR STYLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys! My name's CreativeNative of Wolfborn Gaming and I am developing this engine for use in a commercial game which will be released through Steam Greenlight! So far the engine is rather basic, having spent half my time developing it and half my time writing the story for the project-to-be. All in-game controls are now shown to you during the game, but there are a couple things to note here that may not be obvious to you when playing the engine!

* The male player is meant to move when he attacks and hasn't collided with an enemy/object. It's to allow he player to leap at the enemy, and eventually a method of leaping back will be implemented as well! As of now due to limited graphical resources this appears to look like a bug when you attack. It is not.

* The main reason the female character cannot damage anything when she attacks is her final attack will differ greatly from the one currently presented. (Double Uzi's rather than one pistol) Due to this I wanted to wait until I had the proper animations before coding it in to prevent a weird bug-like effect.

* Combat will NOT be this stiff for long! Both players and enemies will have various methods of blocking, jumping away, range attacks, etc. to liven up the pace of combat quite a bit!

Any bug tests ASIDE FROM ANYTHING MENTIONED IN THE NOTES ABOVE in the comments would be a huge help towards solidifying the engine! I would also like to know how the engine preforms on different specs, different sized monitors, various aspect ratios, etc. for different people so any information you could present given your own test runs would be great!

Also, as you noticed in the notes most of my current limitations are from the graphical aspect of the game. To create this engine I've been using open source graphics and sounds as temporary placeholders, but as it is now I am DESPERATELY in need of a graphical artist! I have contacted many others but due to financial limitations from this being my first commercial product, and my day job being only that of retail, I have not been capable of hiring anyone currently for the position! 3D rendered animations would be preferred although 2D is definately alright!

The graphical style of the game will be something akin to an isometric Final Fantasy kind of game, so anyone who would be interested in working with my current budget, and who wants to take part in a very story driven, open RPG, send me a message on here or contact me at

arthur.a.yarbrough@gmail.com

I hope to hear from you soon!
