D-3B Artemis

The first of my most recent Destroyer fleet, the D-3B Artemis is a long range anti ship missile platform.

It's primary weapon is a huge missile located within the center of the hull that is 10 segments long. Able to blow holes in the most heavily armored of ships at a rate of 1.3 missiles per minute.

To back up this slow weapon it has a rack of 20 multi purpose long range medium missiles and a small torpedo launcher on the rear.

it has a top speed of 42m/s and a cruising speed of 21m/s.
For defense it has a simple shield projector system alongside smoke screening.
as well as a rack of 36 small missile interceptors.

However, as it prefers to fight at a range of 3km it manages to avoid the worst of the incoming fire.

It's primary Role is fire support. While it would be capable of fighting alone, it's most ideal situation is having 1 or a few of these units supporting a primary force. Aiding in blowing major holes in enemy craft's armor.
