Description
Biohazard!
This mod adds a new type of special zombie to the game that spreads Knox infection to any survivors that come close.
Remember to wear protective gear around them, and kill them for some sweet loot!

How does it work?
The new zombie can be found naturally or spawned manually by players. Whenever it sees a player, the zombie will utter a unique scream.
If a player gets near enough, they will slowly begin to succumb to the Knox infection, and become fully infected after some time.
A special, animated overlay will be displayed on the screen whenever players approach a zombemic.
Players can wear (Vanilla and modded) gas masks, hazmat suits, etc. to become protected from this zombie.
When killed, the zombie will spawn some cool loot around it!

This mod also adds a brand new item to the game, a white hazmat suit that can be used to protect oneself from the zombemics.
The suit will also work with the cordyceps spore zones mod, and any other mod that requires biohazard protective gear.

Customization
This mod features a ton of sandbox options, which allows you to tweak everything to make sure the mod fits YOUR needs.
For instance, you can add your own custom loot, multiply the infection, expand the area of infection, increase the spawn rate, etc.

Does it work in multiplayer?
Of course!

Does it work on existing saves?
Absolutely!

What loot do I get?
You can configure it in the sandbox options.

Zombemics won't spawn?
Increase the spawn chance. PZ's spawn chances are ultra messy, and go above 100%.
You might need to set it to something crazy like 10000 to have it work, specially if you have modded zombie outfits.

Is the mod compatible with [...]?
This mod shouldn't have any incompatibility with other mods.

It takes 10 ticks to become infected near this zombie, that's 0.167 seconds. Don't you think is a bit too much? Is not even enough time to react to it, I was expecting something alonside 30 to 60 real life seconds. Even at max 1440 ticks, that should be like 23 seconds or so. Is this measurement correct? Thanks in advance

Doesn't seem to be working on MP/Dedicated Server, no matter the priority, no errors found either.

I don't know if this is working on a dedicated server. I have yet to see a zombie spawn, quite honestly. Does it conflict with the Random Zombies mod?

would it be possible to make an alternative zombemic enemy? a special zombie model for them would be awesome (something mushroomy would be cool to go along with your cordyseps mod)

The probability of special zombie scattering is very low and the probability adjustment is not working properly in the sandbox.

Al poner el mod veo que no es muy compatible con el modo apocalipsis, ya que al matarlo no suelta nada, solo es funcional en el modo de mundo abierto con el sandbox?

I'm honestly not sure how to measure the minimum distance of 10 in order for the infection to take effect.

Also, can I get infected if they're behind a door? It would be kinda scary if they're inside a building, you go deeper inside and you suddenly get queasy without even knowing where they are.
