Varius II HJGC

An extremely potent weapon in the right hands, the Varius II bears a deadly blend of mobility and firepower that makes it dangerous to fight, and difficult to flee from. With an even larger cannon than the lighter assault guns of the Coalition army, a unit of these can swiftly disassemble any obstacle in their way, all while using their agility to avoid the same fate. With a thick frontal plate and considerable redundancy in its flight systems, even those shots that do connect frequently do little to stop its advance; heavy anti-aircraft weaponry is often more effective than the attacks of tanks and other conventional forces. Like the Anguinius, external seating for infantry riders is provided, although such escorts generally prefer to remain securely fastened to their posts for the duration of flight, only assisting in combat when the vehicle is at a lower altitude and slower speed than typical combat performance, or when landed entirely for other reasons.
