Bottle cap mine.

A simple bottle cap mine (as featured in numerous Fallout games).

It has 4 motion activated laser tripwires with a range of 1 meter, and will kill (or maim) any person within 3 meters, with 4 meters being somewhat safe, and anything beyond is completely safe.

It works by using a plastic explosive charge that launches bottle caps into the air at extreme speed once triggered, and anything hit by them will have their bones crushed, organs ruptured, and possibly be dismembered, while being launched up into the air, killing them on impact if they survived the blast.

It has a 0.5 second delay, which is just enough to realize you are hella dead.
