"Despite being known for their resilience, not all Deadbeats choose to live a life in the wild wastelands. It's not unusual to find them working together in large communities, which become major trading hubs where travelling wastelanders can sell their scrap and stop for a drink.

Deadbeat Race Mod Progress Update:
As for progress on the mod, I've been working hard on pinpointing what the final product is going to be. When I first started development years ago, I was pretty much trying to make a Fallout mod. The scope has shifted so much since then, so I've decided to remove many of the Fallout-specific elements of the mod (many of which had not been publicly revealed anyway) so that this mod could have its own identity. In the past, I created many things without an exact plan on how they fit into the mod, so I've had to reorganize and remake many old features as I develop new ones. I still have much to do before things start to match my current vision. After I make a few more dungeons, I can begin working on the campaign, which will then eventually lead into the mod's release."
