Starship Troopers Terran Command - The Story of Klendathu

Description
This map could be challenging for some.
Please be aware that you need to use your units effectively.

After a long break from duty, they are needed for a mission once again. The Mobile Infantry has stationed 2 strategic towers on Klendathu. Contact with Tower 2 was lost during the last attack. It is now up to you to turn things around once again. We're counting on you, soldier!

@Summer My maps are already over a year old. In the meantime, the editor has been updated several times, and it’s quite possible that certain triggers or functions no longer work properly and therefore cause issues. Check out some videos on YouTube about the map—you’ll see how to play through it without major problems. One video is even linked directly here on Steam.

I can't build turrets cause I dont have the material, there was a cache but it gave me supplies when im already negative to begin with.

how are you suppoesed to win with maybe 40 men against a bug army of maybe 1000 bugs had everyone with shotguns and everywhere turrets and even the officer had the best abillity for defense but i stood no chance against this big bug horde even at the end there were still about 500 left

Map isn't too hard, but the cutscenes are absolutely disgusting. Un-skippable, despite there being an option, at least for only the first one, and forcibly dragging my screen around when trying to fight bugs, I've had to restart 3 times because of it. Fix the cutscenes so they stop dragging the screen, and make them skippable. "Properly" skippable, because the first one can be skipped but still drags around the screen until it finally lands on your Tac Officer. Only other issue, aside from the cutscenes is that the boundary to trigger the second tower overlapped twice with the survivors, so I had both active at once while trying to rescue survivors.

actually, you can go another way to clear the bugs before engineers drop, so that you will make engineers save.

then build Turrets will much help when bugs coming.

this map need micro control, but not so hard.

@Deadpoolzy I will fix the engineer problem today; the rest of the map is fine. It's definitely doable. It was also mentioned that the map is challenging and not suitable for inexperienced players who don't use their units optimally.

map has potential but for now is not really good, my engineers got slaughtered before i could even get to them, i have dropships but no way to heal my squads so by the time i have to fight a massive horde at the 2nd tower even with the peeps that i saved i dont have close to enough firepower to hold off so many tigers and tankers. On top of that the "reinforcements" that come to help with the tower just run face 1st in2 the horde getting slaughtered. we need heavier hitters or replace the tac officer with someone useful like a fleet liaison.

3 rifle troopers, 1 combat engineer and 1 "YOU"(and total 6 war supports)

I didn't expect I can win, just thought why not try can hang in there how long, and then......I win.

Well you did warned it will be hard so I am not really annoyed. It's just I have nothing to do in this map except doing S&D or holding ground. This is a night on open ground so it's really lack of enemy position or incoming warning. Losing some troops for the first few times is inevitable, but I got no idea the scale of bugs when the stage goes into holding ground.
Also, the engineer team seems been delivered to the same position, regardless where you trigger the event. Since it is night on open ground, it is very possible that player's troops are fighting on the other side and didn't engaged the bugs located near the drop spot yet.
Still, I would advise adding more hints on way points and preserving troops

@ 银发是好文明 I'm really sorry that you had a bad experience with the map. I don't know why the troops are being dropped so close to bugs, but that shouldn't be the case. Why don't you take a look at this video, where you can see how it should actually be.

I'm just a community creator, so if certain aspects of my map don't satisfy everyone, that's just the way it is. I simply don't have the necessary experience, but I still try to do my best. I will take your feedback into account for the last mission.
