keep getting a glitch on tote when gaslty runs out of uses it destroys but doesnt show back up then i cant use any of the other items or buttons except a few like menu and the carving inventorty

Really cool concept with the getting stronger over time thing, but they're just really bad. Raichu, for example, can take like 50 turns to get to and then is just objectively worse than the common rarity club weapon.
Club: 2 spaces and 1 energy for 9 damage and 3 weak, getting more expensive that turn
Raichu: 4 spaces and 1 energy for 4 damage and 3 weak, not usable again that turn

Love the mod! The part where you have to use the pokemon X times to evolve is a really cool settings that sticks to the original game. However, I do agree with Chuck where the item size and scaling doesn't justify using pokemon in later floors. And personally, I really hope to use them multiple times instead of limited to 1 use per turn. Everything else is great and the pokemon items do resemble the OG game greatly. (venusaur using poison, blastoise giving shield, etc.)

I still need to double check all the pokemon and fix them up a bit. i also have been going back through the balancing because originally pokemon were mostly only balanced around being 1 energy and if they have a location requirement in your backpack while the evolution size and level needed for evolution mostly just followed pokemon lore, which i felt is important include in a pokemon themed lore, even if it makes the pokemon alittle off balance. Also i worked hard on the "Max" and evolution system to make evolving completely optional incase you dont want to make your pokemon larger for the +1regen and poison trade off.

i feel the balance of the mod relies on trying to get your pokemon that slight stat increase despite the size they become when they evolve because each pokemon can only act once per turn, so focusing on only 3 to 5 pokemon that become quite large by the end of the run "mostly" makes sense...

Neat idea, but I found a few issues. First, the pokemon don't grow correctly. Because they are different sizes, the "replace" type spawning can cause them to grow into invalid locations, like overlapping with other items. Second, sometimes when they should transform into the "Max" varient, or be replaced with an evolution, they just disappear. This could be due to typos. I noticed venusaur wasn't spelled correctly. Third, the power scaling is way off. While they seem fine for 1 square items, as they evolve, they become way less efficient. While venusaur is stronger than bulbasaur, it isn't worth the massive 4 square space. Since you already have to invest so much time into making them grow, it would probably be balanced if they just stay 1 square big.
Overall, I like the idea, but its a bit too buggy and underpowered for me to want to use it currently.

i saw another pokemon mod on this, and the caracters are low quality pngs, i recomend to make a joke-mon that is just a fake png on low quality as legedary lmao :steamsalty::archaeologist:
