Hey @jsgamer1442 I used a variety of mods, but the one that lets you customize and "build" your ships like this is FU if I'm not mistaken, when you create your character you can choose between the original ship of your race or a custom "BYOS" ship that you can completely modify block by block, which is what I did! I hope this helps.
