Graniteback II MTMC

Much like its predecessor, the Graniteback II carries 5 large, rocket-propelled bombs. Unlike its predecessor however, they are guided, capable of delivering a devastating payload with precision into the top of fortifications and armour alike. The long-range guidance system of these top attack weapons requires considerable altitude to begin operating effectively, and so has a fairly high minimum effective range. To compliment its primary armament, the vehicle also features a heavy machinegun for close defence, capable of firing anti-infantry and anti-armour belts as needed. It can engage with a degree of accuracy even from the platform's standard operating ranges, although it is placed in a fixed forward swivel mount, leaving the vehicle entirely defenceless to flanking attackers. As always, the Graniteback II is equipped with the standard issue combined smoke and chaff system to frustrate enemy rangefinding and targeting first featured on the Valerie II, now refined to eliminate most of its immediate health effects.
