PxN Tunneling Miner

Here's my standard 20-drill mining ship, for use in space or low gravity.

It's intended to be a tunneller-style miner, able to dig in and continue endlessly in a straight line. The best way to operate it is to bring it into the intended work area with a jump-capable ship, then drill straight into an ore deposit until the end is reached. Then, without touching the steering back out of the tunnel, re-orient, and repeat. This miner will leave a square bore hole behind, so it's easy to adjust and drill in a grid pattern to extract a whole deposit in 4 or 9 runs.

Attempting to steer while inside a tunnel may lead to damage.

This ship provides, unlike many miners, decent visibility from the cockpit, thanks to the used of angled drills. Those will need to be manually built, as they are sub-grids.

There are no assemblers onboard, so keeping a decent amount of spare parts is a good idea.

Also, shutting off the large hydro thruster during mining is highly recommended.
