1978 BMW M1

M1 coupé was hand-built between 1978 and 1981 under the motorsport division of BMW, marking the Company's first venture into the supercar realm.

The fibreglass body was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, taking inspiration from the
1972 BMW Turbo concept car.

With a limited production run of just 453 units, a meticulously restored or exceptionally
well-preserved BMW M1 could fetch prices well above $600,000 to $800,000 or even more at high-end auctions.
