SLAAMs - Submarine Launched Anti-Air Missiles

Description
Adds dedicated Defense Submarines as well as giving anti-air missiles to Attack Submarines.


My first actual mod, and as such it is very low effort (fun to make though).



FAQ:

Is it balanced? - No.

How am I supposed to take out submarines now? - No idea.

Why did you make this? - I don't know, I thought it would be funny.

Compatibility? - Should work with any mod that doesn't change how submarines and their tech tree is defined. Wont work with Omnicide or Dawn at Midnight because of the way those mods function. I might make a port for each of those mods at some point.

Currently the missiles launched by both submarines are identical to that of the standard SAM and ABM, ripped directly from their dedicated section of the game files. I will probably do some balancing tests when I find the time for it. The current version was just made to see if I could make it function without crashing, hence the lack of any sort of art, balancing, or real thought behind it.

awesome idea, however the balancing of it is really where this will fail to take off. Having anti air is one thing, having it be effective every single time however, is a little overboard IMO. Things id heavily consider is launch speed, the amount launched, and accuracy. This might just be the way I choose to play, But 2 destroyers always accompany my submarine fleets for defensive reasons, which achives exactly as this mod does, without the ridiculously underpowered submarines. its a cool idea for sure but i think we need better execution of it
