But if you REALLY want to break this rule, however, go into
\common\megastructures\star_forge.txt
locate every instance of
" possible = {
from = {
NOT = { has_authority = auth_machine_intelligence }
}
}
"
and remove the "NOT = { has_authority = auth_machine_intelligence }" condition.
But certain buffs and debuffs that apply to normal gestalts might not apply to machines, so this may cause unexpected behavior.
It was a bit of a disappointment to see machines cannot benefit from the starforge.
At Levels 1-3 you get some happiness and slight stability and crime debuffs but they are manageable.
At Level 4 other empires start to hate you and may declare total war on you to stop your use of the Star Forge.
Levels 4-7 your stability gets harder to manage. You need to start dedicating more resources to mainting stability either through bread and circuses or brutal policing.
Levels 8-10 is when it gets really unstable and the modifiers pile up enough to spawn rebellions in even the most well-managed empires.
In my playthroughs most AI empires using the Star Forge tend to collapse or be severely weakened to infighting and civil war around Level 7-9, basically making them more of an early-mid game regional crisis.
@DerHauptmann Currently it's not destructible. But it shuts down and reverts to it's inactive state whenever it changes owners and if you wanna play heroic you can simply capture it and make sure no one else ever touches it again as it stands a ominous monument to what once was.
